Prior to joining NFSG in 2011, Brenton Lane worked for over 20 years in the film industry as a Property Master. Brent was instrumental in the success of each project on which he worked. He consulted with the actors, director, writers and producers to develop a vision for the props used in each scene. He then brought this vision to life by carefully selecting each piece to be used and creating a detailed timeline for his department to ensure that each prop was available when it was needed. Brent was in charge of the property budget for each project as well as coordinating and communicating with the various other departments involved. As a Property Master, he worked on projects such as the television show, "Everybody Hates Chris" and movies including: "Bring It On", "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" and "End of the Spear". He was able to effectively operate in a detail-oriented environment, manage large-scale projects, and maintain positive working relationships; qualities that help him excel in the financial industry today.

As a film industry professional, Brent saw many people on either side of the camera that worked extremely hard but had nothing to show for it. His goal is to help these professionals, as well as professionals and small business owners outside the film industry, with their spending habits and financial decisions. Brent draws from personal experience in saving and investing for the peaks and valleys associated with both the unpredictable market and an unpredictable income. Additionally, he wants to educate his clients on what is financially possible for their particular situation. He hopes to design customized plans for each of his clients by getting to know them and assessing their various needs and financial aspirations. Brent’s business motto is, "You have worked hard for your money, and I want to make it work hard for you."

Brent is a founding member of the International Alliance of Theatrical and Stage Employees (IATSE) in San Diego, California and a lifetime member of the Ocean Park Association in Ocean Park, Maine; a summer community in Maine that has a long history and many summer programs that provide volunteer opportunities for individual growth and family enrichment.

A native of Maine and graduate of the University of Maine, Brent and his wife, Kristen, now reside in Jacksonville, Florida. They enjoy cooking and traveling together. Brent and Kristen are active members in their local church where they lead a small group each week. In his free time, Brent enjoys photography and restoring classic cars, specifically Land Rovers.
