Bill Grant has been Managing Director of the Jacksonville office of National Financial Services Group since 2009. Under his leadership the office has enjoyed tremendous growth tripling the number of financial professionals. In 2010, Bill was named NFSG’s Manager of the Year. He has qualified for NFSG’s Fast Start and National Life Insurance Company’s Presidents Club every year since joining NFSG.* In 2011, Bill was invited to begin National Life’s Advanced Leadership Development Program designed to prepare top performing managers to become General Agents.

Prior to his time with NFSG, Bill spent more than ten years with AXA Advisors. As a rookie, his success earned him a membership into the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) - “The Premier Association of Financial Professionals®.” Bill was promoted to management at AXA after only three years in the industry and was the 2001 recipient of the Cassidy Leadership award. In 2002, he was promoted to Vice President/Sales Manager and earned recognition as the top recruiter of the agency.*

When coaching the financial professionals in his office who are working with small business owners Bill often draws upon his own experience. Prior to becoming a Financial Advisor, Bill spent five years running the sales division of a family-owned retail business and understands all too well the challenges of operating a small business.

Bill stays active in both his profession and his community. He is a member of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and GAMA International. He serves on the board of The Towers, Inc., a retirement facility, and is a leader in the Lay Leadership Ministry at Southside Baptist Church. Bill spent five years on the Gator Bowl Committee and three years as a board member of the San Jose Country Club.

Bill and his wife, Shelley, are Jacksonville natives. When not travelling to volleyball tournaments with daughter Brooke or dance competitions with daughter Caroline, Bill can be found enjoying any number of sporting events and is a huge Jaguars fan.
