Stuart grew up in the family construction business where he worked until he graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Marketing from GA State University. He then spent five years building his own corporate meeting planning company before pursuing the education and licensing necessary to become a Financial Advisor. After two successful years with New York Life, he went to work for New England Financial where he took on additional duties as Director of Sales, Training and Compliance. Stuart’s contributions were significant as he helped bring in 30 new associates in only three years and achieved a consistently strong sales growth both individually and for the firm overall. 

Stuart was hired as Regional Director of Sales & Distribution for Entaire Global Companies in 2008. There he supervised and managed 800 independent financial advisors nationwide. In only one year he recruited 200 new advisors, increased new applications by 200% and grew sales in his territory by more than 300%.

In 2010, Stuart was enticed by the opportunity to build and grow an independent brokerage channel for National Financial Services Group and decided to accept the challenge. His background was a perfect fit for this new venture. Through the Independent Division, Stuart believes that agents can be offered the ease of doing business along with the value-added services and a team atmosphere without sacrificing the freedom and flexibility that comes from being independent. Brokers can enjoy the benefits of higher compensations but still have access to key sales concepts, marketing strategies, prospecting, joint work, advanced training, strategic partnership programs and special incentives. By affiliating with NFSG, independent brokers also have access to unique products and TPA relationships.

In addition to his role as President of the Independent Division for NFSG, Stuart continues to run his own highly successful practice. He specializes in developing personalized financial strategies for business owners, professionals and executives. He is a member of the local chapters of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), the Society of Financial Service Professionals (SFSP) and the Financial Planning Association (FPA).

Alpharetta is home for Stuart, his wife, Katherine, and daughter, Savannah where they are active members of North Point Community Church. As a cancer survivor, Stuart knows the importance of a support system for those undergoing treatment and he regularly volunteers his time at both the North Georgia Oncology Center at Kennestone Hospital and the Winship Cancer Institute at Emory. Each year he participates in “Relay For Life”, a fund-raising event for the American Cancer Society.
