Since beginning her career as a Financial Advisor in 2001, Emma Foulkes has built a successful practice in the Financial Services industry. Emma joined National Financial Services Group from American Express Financial Advisors in 2008, bringing with her knowledge and an unrivaled drive and passion for the business.

In her practice, Emma provides business and retirement planning services for small business owners and individuals approaching retirement years. Emma’s goal is to help guide her clients to their retirement goals and to help them achieve financial peace of mind. She focuses on developing strong relationships with her clients through constant open and honest communication. Emma’s client communication systems are highly regarded and helped earn her the honor of being a FIVE STAR Wealth Manager “Best in Client Satisfaction” by Atlanta Magazine in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011*. Emma’s other specialty areas include investment management and tax strategies.

Outside of the office, Emma is committed to sharing the importance of sound financial decisions. She is an accomplished speaker who has spoken to thousands of employees at major corporations and professional groups. Emma has given many educational workshops on Retirement Planning, Retirement Income Distribution and Business Protection.

Emma’s dedication in her current profession is a continuation of her commitment to the armed forces. From 1990-1993, during Operation Desert Storm, Emma trained with the Army Signal Corps as an E-4 Specialist and was stationed at three different locations: Fort Jackson, Fort Gordon and Fort Lewis.  Throughout her service, she facilitated the safe transfer of sensitive communication materials as well as high-ranking military intelligence officers. Emma was also one of the first women to provide SATCOM for an infantry battalion. She earned the National Defense Service Medal for providing support during Operation Desert Storm and the Army Achievement Medal for exceptional service.

Passionate about giving back to the community, Emma serves on the Advisory Board for Open Hearts Personal Care Homes, is a member of the Atlanta Lions Club and a Financial Angel for Hiring for Hope. She also donates time to Life After Pink Slips and the Georgia State Defense Course.

A native of New York City, Emma is a first-generation American; her parents emigrated from Central America. In her spare time, Emma enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking, traveling and listening to music.
