Not much." -Jim Rohn Guy Schliewenz is a financial professional with National Financial Services Group, a comprehensive financial services firm that has built a solid reputation in the Southeast for excellence in service and enduring client relationships. Guy specializes in customized strategies for individuals and their families, as well as small business owners and their employees. Shortly after graduating from high school, Guy joined the United States Navy and served aboard the USS Abraham Lincoln as an Aviation Boatswains Mate (ABE) for four years, completing two tours in the Middle East during Desert Storm. While in the Navy, Guy received awards for honorable service and several commendations for selfless acts of service. Following his tours of duty, Guy received a criminal justice degree in the State of Tennessee, and began a six year career in law enforcement. During his time in both the military and law enforcement, Guy always made country and service to others his top priorities. His commitment to helping others continues in the services he now provides to his clients, specializing in the areas of Life Insurance, Retirement, and Estate Planning strategies. Not oriented to one-time transactions, Guy focuses on developing long-term relationships with his clients by listening to their dreams and goals, researching the best options for them, and then explaining them in a clear and understandable manner. With an emphasis on trust and understanding, he helps his clients develop confidence in their own financial decisions. As a member of the Taylorsville Rotary Club, Guy believes that with success comes responsibility. He is involved in charitable organizations and is an active member of the community. He also provides pro-bono financial services to law enforcement, emergency personnel, and churches. Guy has lived in North Carolina since marrying his wife, Marcia, in 2004. They have two sons, Eliot and Aldin. Guy enjoys spending time outdoors with his family and pets. He is currently working towards a degree in Business through Gardner Webb University and is an active member of Crosspoint Church. I am licensed to sell insurance in North Carolina.
