James Meaders (Jim) has been with our Atlanta agency since 1983. An asset to the firm, he has over thirty years of experience in the financial services industry, with an expertise in the life insurance sector. In addition to being one of NFSG's expert associates, Jim serves as a President of National Insurance Brokerage (NIB). Prior to joining our firm, Jim was Vice President of marketing for MTA, a national marketing firm.

A remarkable commitment to excellence has enabled Jim to establish an accomplished career in the financial industry. He has been the recipient of numerous industry awards such as a Summit Award in 1997, and qualified for Chairman's Council in 1995, 1996, 1997, and 2001. He was also in the National Life Insurance Company Top 50 Producers for several years, a Bronze leading producer in 1995, and the 2001 and 2003 NFSG Excalibur Award winner. He became a Lifetime President's Club Member in 1996. In addition, he is a qualifying member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), Court of the Table in 1990 and 1991, and Top of the Table every year since 1992*.

Jim is a member of The Financial Planning Association, The National Association of Independent Life Brokerage Agencies, The Society of Financial Service Professionals, and the Association of Advanced Life Underwriters. Additionally, he is a Past Chairman of the National Life's Agent Advisory Committee, a Past President of the Atlanta Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, and Past President of the Atlanta Chapter of The Society of Financial Service Professionals. He also served as Area Vice President of the Georgia Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors and as Chairman of the Georgia Business Ethics Award Committee.

An Atlanta native, Jim and his wife Sandy have three daughters; Kelli, Meredith, and Lindsay. They reside in Marietta, and are active members of the Eastside Baptist Church.
