John Ballon began his career in the financial services industry with the New York Agency of National Life Insurance Company. In 2011, John’s wife, Dr. Tina Ballon, DVM, accepted a position at the Greater Atlanta Veterinary Medical Group. John wanted to continue as an agent in the National Life Insurance Company family so he transferred to NFSG. He has achieved great success in the industry early on with his positive attitude and tremendous passion.

John’s practice centers around small business owners and medical professionals, including physicians and veterinarians. He is committed to helping professionals and small business owners achieve their vision of financial freedom with proper business planning based on an in-depth discovery process and a high level of integrity. His goal is to assist his clients in finding creative ways to fund and ensure their financial futures. John’s primary specialties include Pension Plans, Group Benefits and Insurance Strategies.

Aside from growing his own practice, John dedicates time to educating others about the importance of sound financial decisions. He has delivered numerous seminars on the topics of Pension Plans, Section 79 and Disability for physicians. John has also had several public speaking engagements for service organizations and ministries on servant leadership.

John has received recognition on numerous occasions for his success as a financial professional. He was chosen as Rookie of the Year and Head of the Class for the New York Agency in 2010.  Additionally, he has achieved President’s Club status for the National Life Insurance Company in 2010 and 2011*. John also has the honor of being one of the few insurance and financial professionals in the country appointed with the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) for his work in that industry.

Outside of the office, John is involved in supporting the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) and Mercy Ministries as well as coaching a youth travel baseball team during the summer. He and his wife enjoy training for triathlons, spending time with family, traveling and reading.

Prior to his financial services career John was a Professional Baseball player for seven years with several different organizations. While attending the University of New Orleans, John was named a three time Division 1 All-American. John’s tenacity and ambition as an athlete now carry over in his financial practice.
