Covering a vast area of the financial services fields before joining NFSG in 2010, Nicola has held several positions that have helped her to become an experienced financial advisor. Beginning her financial advising career at Old Mutual Actuaries and Consultants, an international financial services group, Nicola has also worked as a Pensions actuary to defined benefit and defined contribution pension funds. Most recently, Nicola worked at UBS Financial Services and Merrill Lynch as a financial advisor.
 
After graduating with a Master of Science in Microbiology, Nicola went on to earn her CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst). Nicola has the knowledge and experience to help her clients in their journey to financial independence. She specializes in comprehensive planning for successful individuals, families and business owners and offers life insurance, Long Term Care, asset allocation, investment management, estate planning strategies, and charitable giving strategies. “I strive to simplify the complexities of wealth and provide clients with an integrated plan that centers on their values and needs. Each client has their own independent plan that reflects their wants and wishes and takes into account their time frame and risk tolerances. I value my clients trust above all else and strive to provide truly independent advice not bound by someone else’s objectives or goals.”

She is a past board member of the Fernandina Beach Rotary Club and is on the board of the Amelia Island Book Festival. Nicola is a member of the Jacksonville CFA Society and on the Amelia Professional Advisory Council for the Jacksonville Community Foundation.
   
Originally from South Africa, Nicola and her husband moved to New York 1997. They have two young daughters and currently live on Amelia Island, which they discovered when sailing past it on their boat on a trip from New York to Fort Lauderdale, the Bahamas and back again.
